Man shot to death at South Jersey townhouse complex, cops say

A man was shot to death at a South Jersey townhouse on Tuesday night, officials said.

The shooting happened at the La Cascata townhouses in Gloucester Township shortly before 5:30 p.m., the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release.

Officers were responding to report of a shooting at the complex when they found Nasir Tart, 24, of Gloucester Township, who was suffering from a gunshot wound, authorities said.

Tart was pronounced dead a short time later at 5:50 p.m., prosecutors said.

No arrests have been made. The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office is asking anyone with information to call Detective Michael Dons at 856-916-9292 or submit a tip anonymously online.
