But Thomas Tuchel’s side were dealt a fresh setback early in the second half as Kingsley Coman had to be withdrawn with a suspected knee injury.
The France international was replaced by Jamal Musiala after the setback, which happened in a non-contact situation at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern face Arsenal in the second-leg of their tightly-run Champions League quarter-final tie this week.
