VfL Bochum have sacked coach Thomas Letsch with just six games left of the Bundesliga season.
Bochum lost to relegation rivals FC Köln this weekend to leave themselves in 15th place and just three points off Mainz 05 in the relegation play-off place.

Letsch has been in charge of the Blauen since 2022 but has recently overseen a dramatic dip in results.
Bochum have lost five of their last six games and have only been victorious five times all campaign long.
The club have confirmed that assistant Jan Fießer will take charge of their upcoming game with Heidenheim this coming Saturday.
