President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump are locked in tight race in battleground Wisconsin, according to the most recent Marquette Law School poll unveiled Wednesday.
Among both registered and likely voters, 51% supported Trump and 49% Biden, just some 200 days out from Election Day.
When the poll added an undecided option, 47% of voters supported Trump, 44% were for Biden, and 8% were undecided.
In January, they were tied 49% to 49%.
In the race for U.S. Senate, this is the poll's first matchup between Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin and Republican challenger Eric Hovde.
Among registered voters, 52% supported Baldwin and 47% Hovde. Among likely voters, 50% supported Baldwin and 50% Hovde.
Independent voters will be the group to watch.
Baldwin has a 24-point lead among registered voters but just a 2-point lead among likely voters.
Some 56% of voters still say they haven't heard enough about Hovde to have a strong opinion of him.
"I think what you're seeing is the power of partisanship because the vote question includes Democrat Tammy Baldwin or Republican Eric Hovde, so for people who don't know anything about him, you're at least tagging him as a Republican and that makes a substantial difference," Marquette University Law School Poll Director Charles Franklin said.
This race is expected to be incredibly close and expensive.
