NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – One person was shot in the foot after a fight at Hadley Park in North Nashville.

Metro police officers at the scene told News 2 Nashville’s fire chief was near the intersection of 28th Avenue North and Meharry Boulevard when he heard gunshots and saw people running, getting into cars, and driving away.

When officers arrived on scene, they found shell casings and a car riddled with bullet holes, according to investigators.

A police spokesperson said a fight at Hadley Park led up to the gunfire, resulting in one person being shot in the foot.

The victim went to General Hospital to be treated for his injuries that investigators said are non-life threatening.
