AVON, Ohio – An 18-year-old died Saturday after falling off a car during a game of tag near Crown Colony drive in Avon.

WKYC reports that Avon Police said a man was driving a vehicle when the 18-year-old attempted to jump onto the running board of the vehicle’s driver side. When the driver continued moving forward, the 18-year-old fell backwards off the vehicle and struck his head on the road.

Both the driver and the 18-year-old had been playing tag with squirt guns, according to police.
