Suburban Cincinnati pickleball facility, one of nation's largest, hits milestone

CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) - The Pickle Lodge, one of the largest pickleball facilities in the country, has completed its final phase of indoor development in West Chester Township’s former Court Yard Sportsplex.

Construction started on the 60,000-square-foot facility, located at 7373 Kingsgate Way, back in October 2022. The facility is now home to 17 indoor pickleball courts, an in-house bar called Erne’s Pickle Bar and a 1,500-square-foot restaurant, occupied by Two Cities Pizza. There is also an additional space that can be booked out for corporate or other private events.

Owners completed phase two, which includes the opening of eight additional courts, a bar, restaurant and event space, earlier this month. A ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the occasion is set for April 23.
