Rant and Rave: Reader appreciates help retrieving newspaper

RAVE to the kind person who retrieves my newspaper and places it on my sidewalk every morning. I’m partially disabled and not able to walk very well.

RANT AND RAVE Rant to greed. Greed has led the leaders and shareholders of companies to chase after unearned wealth rather than provide a valuable and safe product to us all. Rave to the public when we hold people accountable for their foolish actions that put our livelihoods in jeopardy.

RAVE to Virginia Mason Franciscan Health and their advertising agency for creating three TV ads that will warm your heart. One features a grandmother communicating with a baby on her lap and teaching them sign language. Another shows a young boy dedicating a baseball to his grandfather, who is moved to tears and hugs him. Unlike many ads nowadays which I don’t even get, all three of these ads put a smile on my face.
