ALL RIGHT. YOUR TIME IS 515. AND DAMON, AS FOLKS WAKE UP IN THE MORNING, IT’S GOING TO BE PRETTY HUMID OUT THERE, RIGHT? YEAH, IT’S A HUMID MORNING ONCE AGAIN ALL ACROSS SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA. AND THE DEW POINTS ARE VERY HIGH AND THE TEMPERATURES ARE PRETTY HIGH AS WELL. BUT TAKE A LOOK AT THE NATIONAL PICTURE. AT LEAST WE’RE NOT EXPERIENCING THE WEATHER LIKE THEY ARE ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES STATES. THAT BIG LOW PRESSURE AREA OVER MINNESOTA IS CREATING BIG PROBLEMS. THERE, AND THE RAIN STRETCHES ACROSS THE OHIO AND TENNESSEE VALLEYS. THIS MORNING. THAT LOW PRESSURE AREA IS GOING TO CONTINUE TO MAKE ITS WAY ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES. STATES. WHILE FOR US THAT HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE IS PRETTY MUCH GOING TO STAY IN PLACE FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS, AND THAT’S GOING TO KEEP OUR TEMPERATURES HIGH AND OUR RAIN CHANCES LOW. THERE’S A LITTLE BIT OF RAINFALL OUT THERE, BUT IT’S NOT OVER OUR HEADS RIGHT NOW. AND THEN THERE’S A SLIGHT CHANCE THAT SOME OF THAT MIGHT MAKE ITS WAY OVER OUR HEADS LATER ON TODAY. BUT. ONLY A VERY SLIGHT CHANCE OF THAT HAPPENING. SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS CONTINUE THIS MORNING, BRINGING THE WARMTH AND MOISTURE FROM THE GULF OF MEXICO ALL ACROSS LOUISIANA AND TEXAS GULF COAST. THAT’S GOING TO BE THE CASE FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. THIS MORNING, THE WINDS ARE OUT OF THE SOUTHEAST AT 5 TO 10MPH. SO DEW POINTS IN THE UPPER 60S TO THE LOW 70S. AND THE TEMPERATURES ARE PRETTY HIGH AS WELL IN THE LOW 70S. SO WITH TEMPERATURES AND DEW POINTS THAT CLOSE TOGETHER, THE HUMIDITY IS HIGH AND THE THE WINDS ARE RELATIVELY LIGHT, BUT NO SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF FOG IS WITH US ACROSS THE AREA THIS MORNING. SO THAT’S SOME GOOD NEWS THAT THE KIDS ARE UP GETTING READY FOR THE BUS STOP. THE HUMIDITY MIGHT BE THE BIGGEST ISSUE FOR THEM WITH TEMPERATURES IN THAT 66 TO 72 DEGREE RANGE, SO IT’S A MILD AND HUMID AND CLOUDY CONDITIONS ACROSS THE AREA. AND THE RADAR PICTURE IS CLEAR RIGHT NOW. AND AGAIN, A SLIGHT CHANCE WE’LL SEE AN ISOLATED SHOWER OR TWO TODAY. UH, AND ONLY A SLIGHT CHANCE. TEMPERATURES RIGHT NOW, LOW TO MID 70S ACROSS SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA. THEY ARE SLIGHTLY HIGHER THAN THEY WERE AT THIS TIME YESTERDAY. AND IF YOU’RE MAKING PLANS FOR WEDNESDAY AT THE SQUARE, PROBABLY ABOUT 85 DEGREES OUT OF LAFAYETTE SQUARE BY 3:00. AND WHEN THINGS GET STARTED, TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE LOW 80S. THE CLOUDY SKIES ARE GOING TO BE WITH US ALL AFTERNOON LONG, AND THAT LIGHT BREEZE IS GOING TO BE WITH US AS WELL. THIS AFTERNOON, SOME LOW TO MID 80S FOR YOUR AFTERNOON. HIGHS ACROSS SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA. A COUPLE OF SPOTS MIGHT NOT GET OUT OF THE UPPER 70S. THE CLOUD COVER WITH US ALL DAY LONG. TOMORROW MORNING WE’LL WAKE TO TEMPERATURES VERY SIMILAR TO WHERE THEY ARE THIS MORNING IN THE LOW TO THE MID 70S WITH YOUR AFTERNOON HIGHS. UH, POSSIBLY A LITTLE BIT HIGHER FOR YOUR THURSDAY AFTERNOON. THEN ON FRIDAY MORNING, TEMPERATURES VERY SIMILAR TO WHERE THEY ARE THIS MORNING, THEN THE LOW 70S, MAYBE A COUPLE OF SPOTTY SHOWERS OUT THERE AND THE AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES UNDER SOME MOSTLY SUNNY TO PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES ON FRIDAY. LOOKS LIKE THEY’LL BE EVEN HIGHER THAN WHAT WE’RE EXPECTING FOR YOUR THURSDAY. SO HERE’S WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE ON YOUR WDSU. FIRST 1 IN 7 DAY FORECAST AND THERE’S THAT. LOOK AT THE TEMPERATURES THAT WILL INCH UP EVERY DAY THROUGH FRIDAY. A LITTLE BIT COOLER ON SATURDAY. WITH THAT 20 TO 30% CHANCE OF RAINFALL. AND THEN THE NEXT FRONTAL BOUNDARY GETS HERE ON SUNDAY. AND THAT’S GOING TO BRING ABOUT A 6% CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND STORMS AND SOM
