Jonathan Nolan has shared some thoughts about how The Dark Knight came together, and how Riddler was thought about for The Dark Knight Rises.
Nolan is out promoting the upcoming Fallout series and sat down with the Happy Sad Confused podcast. During the conversation, he discussed the creative process behind coming up with The Dark Knight, and how the Riddler was discussed for at least a little bit to be part of The Dark Knight Rises.
One of the most interesting tidbits in the interview is how he wasn’t on set at the beginning of filming for The Dark Knight. He said he called “one of the producers on the movie to say I just want to know what Heath [Ledger] sounded like. I was like what’s he doing with it right? The character had been in my head for so long that you sort of going okay where we going to take this.”
Fallout will debut on Prime Video on April 12.
