ANDERSON’S ARREST TONIGHT. FAMILY IDENTIFIES THE MAN THEY SAY WAS SHOT AND KILLED AT A MILWAUKEE AUTO SHOP LAST NIGHT. THE MOTHER OF 32 YEAR OLD TAMARA WILLIAMS SAYS IT HAPPENED AT CHANGING LANES TIRE SHOP THAT’S NEAR 57TH AND CENTER. WILLIAMS LEAVES BEHIND AN 11 YEAR OLD SON, ACCORDING TO POLICE, AN ARGUMENT SPARKED THE GUNFIRE. WILLIAMS’S MOTHER SAYS HE WAS TRYING TO BUY A TIRE. SHE BELIEVES HE WAS SHOT BY SOMEONE WHO WORKED AT THE AUTO SHOP. TO KNOW THAT MY SON WENT TO GO GET A TIRE, A TIRE THAT COST HIM HIS LIFE. IT’S NOT FAIR. IT’S NOT FAIR TO US. Milwaukee police blocked off the area of 57th and Center streets Monday night as they investigated an shooting in the parking lot of an auto shop. Investigators said it happened following a verbal argument just before 5:30 p.m.The 32-year-old shooting victim died at the scene. Police arrested a 35-year-old.The Milwauke County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Tamario S. Williams, of Milwaukee (pictured below). Williams' mother said he went to buy a tire at Changing Lanes Tire Shop and never returned home. "To know that my son went to go get a tire, a tire that costed him his life, it's not fair," Sheila Williams said. "I hope that justice be done for my son because it's not fair."Williams said Tamario was a father of an 11-year-old son, who she described as his best friend. Williams' family organized a GoFundme to help pay for funeral expenses. Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
