'Criminal' price of England 2024 shirt leaves fans outraged

‘And people question why some parents buy their children fake shirts’

Fans have been left outraged after discovering the ‘disgraceful’ price of England’s 2024 shirt.

On Monday, England and Nike launched the home and away shirts for 2024, which will be worn by the men’s, women’s and para teams this year.

With the Three Lions set to compete at Euro 2024 in Germany this summer, demand for the shirt will no doubt be sky high.

But fans have been left staggered at the how much the shirt will cost, with some labelling the prices “an absolute disgrace.”

Nike are selling the England Authentic men’s home shirt for an eye-watering £124.99, with the replica version costing a hefty £84.99 for men and women.

Meanwhile, the Older Kids’ Authentic Shirt will set parents back a huge £199.99, whilst the replica version will cost £64.99.

Voicing their fury at the prices on social media, one person wrote: “Children’s football shirts for £120. CHILDREN. One hundred and twenty pounds. Utter disgrace. And people question why some parents buy their children fake shirts.”

Someone else labelled the prices “absolutely ridiculous.”

Another wrote: “Price of those England shirts is an absolute f***ing disgrace. And they wonder why people turn to Chinese websites for fakes. Disgusting pricing. Remember the good old days when Sport Direct had racks of them named & numbered for 30 odd quid pre tournament.”

A fourth described the price as “utterly unforgivable” and “exploitative.”
