Hilary announced that she was expecting her third child with musician Matthew, also 36, and her fourth child overall in December.
Luca, 12, is Hilary's first child and she shares him with her ex-husband Mike Comrie, a former professional Canadian ice hockey player.
For lunch on Friday, Hilary took her girls to UOVO Italian Cuisine in Studio City, California and she looked stylish in black sunglasses, green trousers, and a black stretchy top and overcoat.
Banks, five, wore a floral pink tracksuit and first-time big sister Mae, three, wore a fluffy pink coat with cheetah print leggings.

It comes after Hilary's husband Matthew Koma revealed that he had undergone a vasectomy ahead of the arrival of their third child together.
Matthew joked on his vasectomy operation day '10/10 would reccomend (sic)' as he took a selfie in his bandages and underwear.
A vasectomy, or male sterilisation, is a procedure to cut the tubes that carry a man's sperm to permanently prevent pregnancy without further contraception.
Hilary announced her pregnancy exactly three months before with a series of Christmas cards.
She wrote on the post: 'Surprise surprise!' and 'Buckle up Buttercups, we're adding one more to this crazy bunch' alongside photos of her existing children.
Hilary signed them 'The Duff, Bair, and Comrie Crew', as Bair is Matthew's real surname.
