FLINT, MI -- Attorneys who successfully sought a civil contempt judgment against the city for failing to reach milestones related to its water service line replacement program are asking for more than $62,000 in attorney fees and other costs tied to their request.

Attorneys for the Natural Resources Defense Council and the American Civil Liberties Union made the request in a filing on Monday, April 8, in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
