GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - One Grand Strand woman has some more money in the bank after a big lottery win.

South Carolina lottery officials said the woman bought the ticket “when something told her to turn around and get two scratch-offs.”

That turned out to be a great decision as she won $500,000 off a $10 scratch-off from the SM Mart on S. Fraser Street in Georgetown.

“It’s changed my bank account, but it hasn’t changed me,” she said.

There are still two top prizes of $500,000 in 100X The Cash game, according to lottery officials.

SM Mart received a commission of $5,000 for selling the claimed ticket.
