CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A Clifton Park man has been arrested following a larceny investigation, according to state police. Anthony Cafararo Jr., 58, is facing multiple charges.

On December 1, 2023, troopers received a complaint that money had been stolen from the bank account of a Saratoga County resident. The ensuing investigation determined that Cafararo allegedly used the bank card of a victim to withdraw over $10,000 from multiple ATMs without having the victim’s permission and without notifying the person.

State police say that Cafararo had reportedly been given access to the elderly victim’s bank card to help buy groceries for the person. He now faces the following charges:

Charges

  • Third-degree grand larceny
  • Fourth-degree grand larceny
  • Petit larceny

Cafararo was arrested on April 13 and processed at SP Clifton Park. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to multiple courts on later dates.
