A man accused of shooting a bystander at a Kalamazoo gas station has been charged with multiple counts, including attempted murder.

Deputies were called to Speedway on South Drake Road near West KL Avenue after multiple shots were fired at an alleged target on March 17, according to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office.

The alleged shooter, Lenny Williams, 18, then sped off in a gray SUV with two other men before deputies arrived.

Friday, deputies obtained a search warrant for Williams on two counts of assault with intent to murder, one count of possession of a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent, and one count of felony firearm, according to the sheriff's office.

Williams was found and arrested five days later in the Evergreen South Apartment Complex, deputies said.

Jaquan Foster, who was found with Williams, was arrested for having a firearm.

He faces a charge of carrying a concealed weapon illegally, deputies said.

As of Thursday, Williams and Foster remain in the Kalamazoo County Jail.

A bond was set for Williams at $250,000 cash/surety, and for Foster at $5,000 personal recognizance.
