Officers searching for man who jumped out of second-story window to escape capture, police say

DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — Police and U.S. Marshals are searching for a wanted fugitive in Dothan.

According to the Dothan Police Department, on April 17, Dothan Police and agents with the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force tried to arrest Alexander Cochrane near the 600 block of Westgate Parkway, but before officers could nab him, Cochrane jumped from the balcony of a second-story home.

Police say Cochrane is wanted for domestic violence, escape, and several other misdemeanor warrants.

Cochrane was last seen near Westage Parkway and was wearing gym shorts.
