Van Nuys, CA. – A worker was injured in a construction accident on Friday evening near Van Nuys in Los Angeles.

The incident was reported around 5:30 p.m. on 7319 Hazeltine Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The worker reportedly suffered an abdominal injury from a nail gun discharge and had to be lowered to safety using ground ladders and a two-line rope system.

The 45-year-old man was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
