Police looking for suspect in First National Bank robbery

Police are searching for a man tied to robbing the First National Bank on South Main Street in King, North Carolina.

KING, N.C. — Police are looking for a man accused of robbing a Triad bank Friday afternoon.

The City of King said around 12:19 p.m., a robbery happened at the First National Bank on 647 S. Main Street in King, NC.  

Investigators said the suspect is about 5'8'' - 5'11'' tall and weighs around 180 pounds. He wore a black medical mask, black ball cap, white hoodie, gray sweatpants, and purple tennis shoes.  

Detectives said the suspect left on foot towards the Verizon store on South Main Street and then left in a dark-colored, newer, small SUV. If you encounter a subject matching this description, do not approach - call 911 and report it to the King Police Department.
