Nor’easter coats New Hampshire roads with heavy, wet snow

Nor’easter coats New Hampshire roads with heavy, wet snow
THAT SNOW CONTINUES TO PILE UP THERE RIGHT. IT IS CONTINUING TO PILE UP, SEAN. BUT IT’S TOUGH TO GET A HANDLE ON EXACTLY HOW MUCH SNOW HAS FALLEN BECAUSE IT IS THAT HEAVY, WET SNOW TENDS TO COME BACK ALMOST AS SOON AS IT HITS THE GROUND. NOW TAKE A LOOK. YOU CAN SEE THAT THE PLOWS HAVE BEEN OUT HERE IN DOWNTOWN AND ON MAIN STREET. HERE THEY CONTINUE TO WORK TO CLEAR IT. WE’RE NOT SEEING A LOT OF TRAFFIC, WHICH IS A GOOD THING AS PEOPLE SEEM TO BE HEEDING THE ADVICE AND STAYING HOME. THE OTHER THING ALSO, THERE IS A PARKING BAN IN EFFECT HERE IN CONCORD FOR ABOUT ANOTHER HOUR. SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED AS WELL. THE TRASH PICKUP HAS ALSO BEEN POSTPONED, PUSHED BACK A DAY AS WELL. ONE THING WE DID SEE, WE DID SEE A CONCORD AREA TRANSIT BUS OUT HERE EARLIER THIS MORNING. SO IT APPEARS THAT THAT A PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION IS WORKING. AND NOW TAKE A LOOK HERE AT THE ROADS. YOU CAN SEE AGAIN, NO CARS ON THE SIDE HERE AS THEY WORK TO CLEAR THIS. UH, THE ROADS ARE VERY SLIPPERY THOUGH. SO IF YOU DO HAVE TO HEAD OUT, BEAR THAT IN MIND. ALLOW FOR A LOT OF EXTRA TIME. THE BEST ADVICE, AS WE’VE BEEN SAYING, ALL MORNING, THOUGH, IS IF YOU CAN STAY HOME, THAT’S THE BEST THING TO DO.
