UPDATE 1:03 p.m. The Decatur Police Department said Jay Larose has been found safe and returned to his home.
DECATUR — The Decatur Police Department is seeking the public’s help locating a missing autistic 15-year-old boy.
A news release states that Jay Larose was last seen by a family member leaving his residence in the 1300 block of North Edward Street at around 7 a.m. Sunday, April 7.
The teen has autism and may not respond when spoken to, the release said. At this time, no foul play is suspected.
Officials say Jay was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants with a “skull” symbol on them. He is 5 foot, 7 inches tall and weighs 115 pounds.
