DENVER — THE FORECAST BY: Ed Greene
FORECAST HEADLINES: Our next system moving into the region will increase our clouds today with early showers over the mountains and late showers or a thunderstorm for Denver and the plains. A few storms could be heavy over the northeast plains late today.
A cold front will cool highs on Thursday with breezy conditions and a chance for an isolated storm or two, with a little better chance for showers or storms Friday.
The weekend looks to be dry and warmer with a high near 70 on Saturday and near 80 by Sunday. Could see a few isolated storms Monday, then a fairly mild and dry week follows until the next change arrives late Friday.
TODAY: Increasing clouds with a possible late storm, high around 70; mostly cloudy with a chance for showers or a storm tonight, low 39.
THURSDAY: Partly cloudy, cooler and breezy with a chance for an isolated late thunderstorm, high 61; partly cloudy and breezy with a few scattered showers or a storms overnight, low 42.
FRIDAY: Partly cloudy with a chance for showers or a storm, high 67; partly cloudy with a few showers overnight, low 38.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and mild, high 68; partly cloudy overnight, low 47.
SUNDAY: Partly cloudy and warmer, high near 80; partly cloudy with a chance for an isolated shower overnight, low 49.
MONDAY: Partly cloudy and not as warm with a chance for an isolated late storm, high around 70; partly cloudy overnight, low 43.
TUESDAY: Mostly sunny and mild, high 72; partly cloudy overnight, low 45.
