This week’s Orange County high school baseball rankings.

Notable this week: Mater Dei moves up two places to No. 4 after winning the championship of the prestigious Boras Classic South tournament. … Santa Margarita is still at No. 1 after going 3-1 in the National Classic. … No. 3 JSerra went 3-2 in the Boras Classic South. … Los Alamitos beat San Juan Hills in the Ryan Lemmon Spring Tournament, so the Griffins move up in the county rankings. … Servite is up to No. 9 after going 3-1 in the National Classic.

ORANGE COUNTY BASEBALL TOP 25

1. Santa Margarita 13-5-1: The Eagles were 3-1 in the National Classic, including a win over Bishop Amat. They play JSerra this week in a three-game Trinity League series.

2. Orange Lutheran 14-4: The Trinity League-leading Lancers played once last week, a 2-1 loss to Harvard-Westlake, which was No. 2 in last week’s CIF Southern Section Division 1 rankings. Orange Lutheran plays in the National High School Invitational in North Carolina this week.

3. JSerra 11-6-1: The Lions lost to Oaks Christian in the first round of the Boras Classic South, then won its next three, including a 10-1 victory over San Dimas in the consolation final. They play Santa Margarita three times this week; the teams are tied for second place in the Trinity League with 4-2 league records.

4. Mater De 12-6: They were not considered one of the tournament favorites but the Monarchs won the championship of the Boras Classic South, beating state No. 1 Corona 5-3 in the championship game.

5. Huntington Beach 14-5: The Oilers finished third in the Boras Classic South, beating Etiwanda 4-2 in the third-place game. Their tournament loss was to Mater Dei 4-3 in 11 innings. Huntington Beach is playing in the National High School Invitational this week; they won the tournament last season.

6. Los Alamitos 16-5: The Griffins won four Ryan Lemmon Spring Tournament games, including a 4-3 win over San Juan Hills. They play Edison twice in Surf League games this week.

7. San Juan Hills 15-4: The Sea View League-leading Stallions went 1-2 in the Ryan Lemmon tournament, including one-run losses to Los Alamitos and Pacifica. They play Aliso Niguel twice this week in league play.

8. Villa Park 12-9: It was a mixed week for the Spartans – a 3-2 win over Harvard-Westlake, the No. 2 team in the CIF-SS Division top 10, and close losses to Ocean View and Calabasas. Villa Park plays Crestview League-leader El Modena twice this week in league games.

9. Servite 10-10: The Friars were 3-1 in the National Classic, including an 8-0 win over Cypress. They lost to tournament champion Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks in the semifinals.
