A Caldwell County man was injured in a single-vehicle wreck on U.S. 62 Wednesday.
According to Sheriff Don Weedman, the wreck occurred about 6.5 miles east of Princeton at Archery Club Road when 33-year old Christopher Adamson was driving eastbound on Dawson Road and lost control of his SUV on the wet roadway. The SUV reportedly crossed the centerline, struck several small trees and came to rest on its top.
Sheriff Weedman says Adamson was wearing his seatbelt and was transported to Caldwell Medical Center by his family due to his injuries.
Deputy Stacy Blackburn is continuing to investigate the crash.
The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by the Princeton Fire/Rescue Department and Caldwell County Ambulance Service.
