The fire is believed to have started along an exterior wall before burning through the siding into the structure. KCFD firefighters quickly extinguished the flames.An extensive overhaul of the exterior wall was required to prevent the fire from spreading further into the building. KCFD is investigating the cause of the fire. Two occupants were displaced and will require temporary housing. No injuries have been reported as a result of this incident.
