In a grim incident in Buda, Texas, a pedestrian lost their life after an encounter with a vehicle just outside a local watering hole. The fatal event unfolded on FM 1626, near Buck's Backyard, where police say the individual was struck while attempting to navigate the road.

The collision occurred on April 14, shortly after midnight, prompting immediate law enforcement and emergency response. According to CBS Austin, the victims sustained severe injuries, and despite hasty transport to Seton Hays Hospital, they succumbed to their traumas. The driver of the car and their passenger were not spared the ordeal's touch, both necessitating hospital visits for evaluation, from which they were later discharged.
