HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (WFFT) - A Huntington teen is dead after a crash this morning on I-69.
Indiana State Police Fort Wayne (ISPFW) and the Huntington County Sheriff's Department confirmed a teen was driving around 9 a.m. in a Ford Focus in the southbound left lane on I-69.
Officials say an unknown reason led the Ford Focus off the roadway to the left and into the grass median, colliding with the interstate cable barrier, and then coming to a rest.
Officials say when they arrived at the scene, the teen had no pulse and serious trauma to his body.
The driver was identified by Huntington County Coroner's Office as Quentin Crawford, 19, of Fort Wayne.
Huntington County Coroner will schedule an autopsy for tomorrow.
Officials say the death is under investigation at this time.
