Top Clarksville-area sports performers in TSSAA baseball, softball, soccer April 8-14

Here are the top performers in Clarksville-area high school sports for the week of April 8-14.

SATURDAY

Baseball

Preston Brooks, Clarksville: Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in a 7-3 loss at Green Hill.

Briley Hagewood, Clarksville: Went 3-for-4 with a double.

Ben Moore, Korbin Reynolds and Collin Windham, Clarksville: Each had two hits.

Evan Welch, Clarksville: Tossed 3.1 innings of shutout relief.

Jack Wyatt, Clarksville: Hit a solo home run.

Tristan Cobbler and Evan Leonard, Clarksville Academy: Both drove in two runs in a 13-3 win at Mt. Juliet Christian.

Floyd Dodwell, Clarksville Academy: Went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs.

Brennen Gibson, Clarksville Academy: Went 3-for-3 with an RBI, three runs, a stolen base and fell a home run short of hitting for the cycle.

Colton Wallace, Clarksville Academy: Was 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and two runs.

Softball

Haylie Brooks, Houston County: Hit two home runs, driving in three runs, in a 9-0 win over White House-Heritage. Also pitched a complete game two-hitter with four strikeouts.

Daelynn Hodges, Houston County: Threw a one-hit shutout in a 14-0 win over Bowling Green (Kentucky) and drove in two runs on a triple. Went 2-for-3 against White House-Heritage.

Addie Horn, Houston County: Went 2-for-4 with a double and five RBIs against Bowling Green. Went 2-for-3 against White House-Heritage.

Ally Mitchell, Houston County: Scored three runs and stole two bases against Bowling Green. Hit a three-run home run against White House-Heritage.

Addison Carter, Rossview: Hit a grand slam in an 8-3 win over Butler (Kentucky).

Madelyn Fillers, Rossview: Went 2-for-4 with a double in a 5-3 loss to Russellville (Kentucky). Pitched six innings, allowing one earned run. Went 2-for-4 with two RBIs against Butler.

Mackenzie Havens, Rossview: Hit a two-run home run against Russellville.

Avery Rauscher, Rossview: Pitched a complete game two-hitter with no earned runs and two hits allowed, striking out nine, against Butler. Also went 3-for-4 with an RBI.

Kennedy Scott, Rossview: Went 3-for-4 with an RBI against Butler.

Addy Waller, Rossview: Went 2-for-4 against Russellville.

Boys track and field

Ian Castaneda, Clarksville: Helped the Wildcats' 4x800-meter relay team take first place at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic in Fort Campbell with a time of 8:27.90. Placed fourth in the open 800 (2:09.06).

Corbin Drawdy, Clarksville: Won the 3200-meter run, finishing in 10:45.36.

Cyrus Sanders, Clarksville: Ran on the 4x800 relay and placed sixth in the open 800 (2:11.84).

Hayden Waleski, Clarksville: Won the 800 meters with a time of 1:58.45 and also ran on the 4x800.

Jayden Waller, Clarksville: Won the 1600 meters with a time of 4:51.70 and also ran on the 4x800.

McKenzie Andrews, Samuel Atoubi and Maurice Moore, Fort Campbell: Helped the Falcons win the 4x400-meter relay at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic with a time of 3:35.24.

Tyreek Anthony, Fort Campbell: Won the high jump with a height of 5'8".

Mateo Cerritos Gatto, Fort Campbell: Took first place in the triple jump with a mark of 41'1" and also ran the second leg of the 4x400. Came in third in the open 400 (51.64 seconds).

Ja'Caryous Perryman, Fort Campbell: Won the long jump with a distance of 21 feet, 2.25 inches.

Jazavier Bell, Kenwood: Led off the Knights' winning 4x200-meter relay team at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic, which posted a time of 1:30.56.

Dazhmeon Brown and Durrell Moore, Kenwood: Both ran on the 4x200 and helped the Knights place first in the 4x100 as well.

Jeremiah Harrison, Kenwood: Ran on the 4x100-meter relay, which finished in 43.61 seconds.

Aidan Cole, Northeast: Won the 300-meter hurdles at the Robert James Warrior Invitational in Murfreesboro and also anchored the Eagles' winning 4x800-meter relay.

Colten Hility, Northeast: Won the 1600 meters and ran on the 4x800.

Jayden Riley and Hunter Smith, Northeast: Ran on the 4x800 with Cole and Hility.

Kaden Veasey, Northeast: Won the triple jump.

Darius Bailey, Northwest: Won the 800 meters at the Cookeville Invitational, finishing in 2:09.69. Also placed eighth in the 1600 with a time of 4:58.86.

Treyson Cosby, Northwest: Won the 300 hurdles (40.97 seconds), placed second in the 110 hurdles (15.75) and came in third in the triple jump (41'7.5").

Zachariah Taylor, Kenwood: Won the 100 (10.78 seconds), 200 (21.99 seconds) and anchored both the 4x100 and 4x200 relays for a total of four wins in four events.

Micah Parker, Rossview: Won the 400-meter dash at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic, posting a time of 50.52 seconds.

Maxwell Strains, Rossview: Won the 110-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles with times of 15.96 and 42.48 seconds, respectively.

Girls track and field

Brooklyn Houk, Clarksville: Won the shot put at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic with a distance of 29 feet, eight inches. Came in third in the discus (84'0").

Adeline Polack, Clarksville: Won the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 49.59 seconds and finished second in the 100 hurdles (17.43).

Brooke Waleski, Clarksville: Won the 1600 meters in a time of 5:31.17 and placed second in the 800 (2:24.61.).

Lillianah Dewitt, Chanelle Fobbs, Jerni Hicks and Zyaziah Langley, Fort Campbell: Made up the Falcons' winning 4x200-meter relay at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic, teaming up to run a 1:48.01.

Emmie Underwood, Fort Campbell: Won the 3200 meters with a time of 11:58.46 and placed second in the 1600 with a time of 5:36.37.

Jehryeia Morris, Kenwood: Tied for first in the long jump at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic with a distance of 14 feet, seven inches.

DeShae Jones, Montgomery Central: Won the discus at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic with a distance of 100 feet, nine inches.

Alijanae Cole, Northeast: Won the long jump, 200-meter dash and 400-meter dash at the Robert James Warrior Invitational.

Maria Damia-Becerra, Shaniya Davis, Melina Mueller and Deonah Nesmith, Northeast: Won the 4x400 and 4x800-meter relays.

Ja'Kyah Montgomery, Northeast: Won the triple jump.

Nevaeh Schmeling, Northeast: Won the 100-meter hurdles.

Adella Cameron, Rylie Gorman and Lillian Goodwin, Rossview: Helped the Hawks win the 4x800-meter relay at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic, posting a time of 10:48.21.

Kristen DeSantis, Rossview: Won the 100-meter dash (12.74 seconds) and the pole vault (11'6"). Also ran on the Hawks' 4x400 relay, which won in 4:19.62.

Brooklyn Herbek, Rossview: Helped the Hawks win the 4x400 and 4x800 and placed second in the 400-meter dash (1:01.35).

Kaitlyn McLeod, Rossview: Won the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.83 seconds. Anchored the Hawks' winning 4x400 team.

Nevada Williams, Rossview: Tied with Morris to place first in the long jump and also ran on the 4x400 with DeSantis, Herbek and McLeod.

Mikaya Bigbee, Jayla Chastine and Amiyah Warren, West Creek: Helped the Coyotes win the 4x100 relay at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic with a time of 51.89 seconds.

Key'auri Hildreth, West Creek: Won the triple jump with a mark of 31'8" and placed sixth in the long jump (14'2.5").

Maliyah Warren, West Creek: Won the 100-meter hurdles in 16.61 seconds and placed seventh in the 100-meter dash (13.50). Also ran on the 4x100 with Bigbee, Chastine and Warren.

FRIDAY

Baseball

Parker Frost, Clarksville: Went 2-for-2 with an RBI and two stolen bases in a 7-2 win at Dickson County.

Briley Hagewood, Clarksville: Drove in two runs.

Colie Reynolds, Clarksville: Pitched 4.1 innings, giving up three hits, one earned run and striking out three.

Kirk Weatherford, Clarksville: Hit a double, scored two runs and pitched 1.1 scoreless innings with three strikeouts.

Collin Windham, Clarksville: Doubled, scored twice and stole two bases.

Nathan Chatman, Kirkwood: Went 2-for-4 with an RBI in a 5-4 loss at Northeast.

Kaden Hernandez, Kirkwood: Struck out eight in six innings pitched.

Michael Pineda, Kirkwood: Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Gabe Eddington, Montgomery Central: Went 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs and a stolen base in a 13-2 loss to Greenbrier.

Ethan Cramer, Northeast: Went 2-for-3 with a double, three RBIs and two stolen bases against Kirkwood.

Jamarion Green, Northeast: Drew a walk-off walk to score the game-winning run in the eighth inning.

Jackson Meece, Northeast: Went 2-for-4 with an RBI double

Isaiah Robinson, Northeast: Pitched two hitless, scoreless innings with two strikeouts to get the win in relief.

Cameron Skaggs, Northeast: Went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and struck out nine batters in six innings, giving up three earned runs.

Jordan Akins and Johnny Cabaleiro, Rossview: Both hit home runs and finished with two RBIs apiece in an 18-5 win over Liberty Creek.

Brady Cooper, Rossview: Doubled, drew two walks and scored three runs.

Houston Hebert, Rossview: Hit two home runs and drew two walks for a total of six RBIs. Crossed the plate four times.

Julian Richards, Rossview: Went 3-for-3 with a double, an RBI, two stolen bases and three runs.

Max Rogers, Rossview: Pitched three scoreless innings with three strikeouts and two hits allowed.

Caden Slaughter, Rossview: Went 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBIs and two runs scored.

Adam Bradshaw, Stewart County: Went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs in a 10-2 win at Fairview.

Hayden Wallace, Stewart County: Drove in two runs and drew a pair of walks.

Jonathan Walsh, Stewart County: Went 3-for-5 with a triple, a stolen base, three RBIs and two runs.

Softball

Ava Ahearn, Clarksville: Drove in three runs and scored twice in a 14-0 win over Northwest.

Aree Collins, Clarksville: Threw a one-hitter with nine strikeouts.

Carlie Sheets, Clarksville: Was 3-for-4 with a double, five RBIs and two runs.

Madelyn South, Clarksville: Went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and two runs.

Caroline Watts, Clarksville: Reached base three times, stole a base, scored two runs and had two RBIs.

Haylie Brooks, Houston County: Pitched a complete game one-hitter with four strikeouts in a 2-1 win over Harpeth in the first game of a doubleheader. Went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and a double in the second game, a 10-3 Irish win.

Peyton Brooks, Houston County: Went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI, three runs and a stolen base in the second game.

Callie Herron, Houston County: Drove in the go-ahead run on a triple in the fifth inning of the first game, and later scored the game-winning run. Had two RBIs and a stolen base in the second game.

Addie Horn, Houston County: Drove in two runs in the second game.

Ally Mitchell, Houston County: Was 2-for-3 with a double and two runs in the second game.

THURSDAY

Baseball

Preston Brooks, Clarksville: Stole three bases in a 5-3 win over Brentwood Academy.

Brady Davis, Clarksville: Got the win by pitching 3.1 innings with three strikeouts, allowing two hits and no earned runs.

Briley Hagewood, Clarksville: Drew two walks, including one to score the go-ahead run in the sixth inning.

Korbin Reynolds, Clarksville: Hit a double and drew a walk to score the tying run.

Johnny Cabaleiro, Rossview: Went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, three RBIs and two runs in an 11-1 win over Goodpasture.

Brady Cooper, Rossview: Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Houston Hebert, Rossview: Went 2-for-3 with a home run, five RBIs and two runs.

Brody Prairie, Rossview: Pitched four innings, giving up three hits and striking out seven to record the win.

Julian Richards, Rossview: Was 2-for-4 with two runs.

Boys soccer

Cleo Patterson, Montgomery Central: Scored Central's lone goal in an 8-1 loss at Fairview.

Alexander Coates, Rossview: Had a pair of assists in a 9-0 win over Northwest.

Graham Duncan, Rossview: Scored five goals and assisted on one other.

Ethan Drew, Rossview: Had an assist.

Ben Fitting, Luke Ramsay, Luke Russell and Josh Villa, Rossview: Each found the net.

Jake Haynes, Rossview: Had two assists.

WEDNESDAY

Baseball

Briley Hagewood, Clarksville: Went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in a 5-2 win at Brentwood Academy.

Christian Henderson, Clarksville: Pitched four innings, giving up one hit, one walk and striking out five.

Dawson Smith, Clarksville: Recorded the win in relief by pitching 2.2 shutout innings.

Jack Wyatt, Clarksville: Went 4-for-4 with two doubles, two runs, an RBI and two stolen bases.

TUESDAY

Boys soccer

Carter Black, Isaac Horchak, Levi Rogers and Prestyn Shimon, Clarksville: Each scored a goal in a 4-2 win at Springfield.

Jacob Wiggins, Clarksville: Stopped six shots in a scoreless second half.

Caleb Bone, Northwest: Had an assist in a 4-1 win at Henry County.

Thomas Dollar and Josh Henson, Northwest: Scored one goal apiece. Henson's goal tied the game with 16 minutes to play and Dollar's goal gave the Vikings the lead five minutes later.

Leon Lee, Northwest: Scored two goals in the final eight minutes.

Alexander Coates, Rossview: Assisted on two goals in a 5-2 win over Green Hill.

Ethan Drew, Rossview: Had an assist.

Graham Duncan, Rossview: Scored three goals and assisted on another.

Emiliano Fuimaono and Josh Villa, Rossview: Both found the net.

Brennen Gibson, Clarksville Academy: Went 2-for-4 with an RBI in a 4-3 loss to Davidson Academy.

Colton Wallace, Clarksville Academy: Went 2-for-3 with a an RBI.

Cade Cocke, Clarksville Christian: Went 2-for-3 with an RBI, two runs and two stolen bases in a 10-9 win over Franklin Road Christian. Started and struck out nine in 4.1 innings pitched.

Landon Sialana, Clarksville Christian: Was 2-for-2 with an RBI, three runs, a double, two walks and two stolen bases.

Michael Anderson, Fort Campbell: Gave up two hits over four innings and struck out 11 in a 15-0 win over Dawson Springs. Also drove in two runs.

Adam Harrington, Fort Campbell: Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, two runs and two stolen bases.

Noah Herron, Fort Campbell: Was 2-for-4 with three RBIs.

Marquell Hunt, Fort Campbell: Reached base in all of his plate appearances and scored three runs.

Ayden Moore and Colton Ramos, Fort Campbell: Both drove in two runs.

Matthew Dirks, Kirkwood: Pitched 5.2 innings of one-hit ball, striking out seven, in a 5-1 win over Northeast. Also drew three walks and stole two bases.

Gabe Eddington, Montgomery Central: Pitched a complete game three-hitter with 13 strikeouts in a 9-0 win over Fairview. Scored two runs and stole two bases on offense.

Matthew Heimpel, Montgomery Central: Hit a triple, drove in two runs, scored three runs and stole three bases.

Connor Lehman, Stewart County: Pitched a complete game one-hitter with 11 strikeouts in a 4-0 win over Waverly.

Jonathan Walsh, Stewart County: Went 2-for-4.

Donte Castro, West Creek: Batted 2-for-5 with three RBIs and a stolen base in a 14-11 loss to Dickson County.

Shaun Chumley, West Creek: Doubled and drove in a pair of runs.

Nathan Lucas, West Creek: Went 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Softball

Charis Nichols, Clarksville: Pitched a four-hit complete game, walking two and striking out six, in a 4-1 win at Rossview.

Bella Arellano, Bennett Smith, Rebbekah Hass and Raegan Irish, Clarksville Academy: Each had multi-hit games and combined for nine runs and three RBIs in a 19-0 win at Mt. Juliet Christian.

Kingsley Bell, Clarksville Academy: Went 3-for-4 with an RBI and three runs.

Alexa Bertelsmann, Clarksville Academy: Went 3-for-3 with five RBIs, two runs and a double.

Lyla Clemmons, Clarksville Academy: Batted 3-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs.

Haley Elliott, Clarksville Academy: Pitched a three-inning perfect game with four strikeouts. At the plate, drove in three runs.

Megan Hass, Clarksville Academy: Went 3-for-3 with three RBIs, two runs and a pair of doubles.

KayLee Carnall, Kirkwood: Scored three runs in a 12-2 win over Northeast.

Iliana Conley, Kirkwood: Drove in three runs and crossed the plate twice.

Jaydah Jordan, Kirkwood: Went 2-for-3 with four RBIs and a double.

Maddie Ratcliff, Kirkwood: Batted 2-for-3 with three RBIs, two runs, a double and three stolen bases. Pitched a complete game, striking out three and giving up one earned run over five innings.

Katelynn Griffy, Northeast: Went 2-for-3 with a stolen base in the loss to Kirkwood.

McKenzie Quick, Rossview: Went 2-for-4 in the loss to Clarksville.

Avery Rauscher, Rossview: Pitched a complete game with five hits allowed and nine strikeouts.
