Basketball fans can catch the Big3 league's return this summer on CBS, with stops in ten cities across the country. In an interview, league founder Ice Cube expressed his pride in what he and his partners have built over the past seven years.

"You have a dream you think is perfect for the public, you think the appetite is there, you think you could sneak in with a new professional sport," Ice Cube said. "We went for it and have some great legendary people give us a stamp of approval by being a part of the league as coaches."

The Big 3 recently made headlines by offering women's basketball star Caitlin Clark a $5 million contract to join the league. Ice Cube said Clark's shooting range would be perfect for the Big 3's four-point shot, and her joining the league would boost ratings on CBS.

Ice Cube sees the Big 3's traveling format, which he compares to a "rolling all-star game," as a way to bring professional basketball to cities that don't have NBA teams. The league will make a stop in San Antonio on August 4th.

Looking back on his iconic entertainment career spanning music, film and now sports, Ice Cube said he's blessed and living the dream. "I love the fact that I'm able to make a movie and not just dream about it, and that people dig it and quote it years later," he said.
