Victims of sexual and violent crimes have revealed they feel the justice system was worse than the crime they experienced, and a report revealed half question whether they’ll ever report another crime.

Victims of Crime Commissioner, Fiona McCormack says she’s not surprised by the findings.

“I think what surprises me is, that we just accept that because of our model of justice, that there’s nothing that can be done … there has been a number of different interventions in the justice system over a number of years,” she told Ross and Russ.
