NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The person who allegedly sent Christ Presbyterian Academy a message prompting safety concerns, a private Christian school in Nashville, causing it to close on Monday, will not be facing charges, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

MNPD reportedly identified and engaged the person who made the message containing “disconcerting language” toward CPA and decided to not make an arrest.

The school said it will reopen its campus on Tuesday, March 26, as it feels comfortable there’s no danger to its community.

CPA will remain in contact with law enforcement as the investigation continues. Additional security will be present on campus throughout the remainder of the week.

This is a developing story.
