NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — A Newport News woman has been found safe according to police.

Alyssa Auche, 34, was considered as a missing endangered adult due to circumstances surrounding her leaving that posed a concern for her safety.

Auche was considered missing on April 17 and was believed to be in Southeastern Virginia or Northeastern North Carolina.

The missing endangered adult alert was canceled for Auche around 4:30 a.m. Thursday morning.
