DALLAS, Texas (KETK) – A lawsuit against Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was dismissed Friday in Dallas County at the plaintiff’s request, the Dallas Morning News reported.

A woman filed a civil suit against Prescott accusing him of sexually assaulting her in 2017, seeking a sum of $100 million dollars as compensation for mental anguish. Prescott denied the accusation, calling it an extortion attempt and responded with a countersuit, suing her for $1 million.

Dallas Morning News reported that the lawsuit was dismissed without prejudice, which means the lawsuit can be reopened. CBS News states that the woman’s attorney plans to re-file the lawsuit in Collin County, where Prescott filed his countersuit.
