Ethan and Maya Hawke Made a Rare Father-Daughter Appearance and Looked So Alike

Either way you slice it, Maya Hawke, the daughter of famous parents Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, has great genes. And while some may say she looks more like her mom, we're here to argue the other side. 

Allow us to point your attention to the Wildcat premiere at the Angelika Theatre in New York City on Thursday, where the Stranger Things actress joined her dad on the red carpet for a cute father-daughter photo-op. From their piercing blue eyes to their color-coordinated outfits, Ethan and Maya possibly never looked more alike.

For her part, Maya paired her sheer black lace skirt with a matching double-breasted blazer, a navy blue belt, and a white button-down peeking out from underneath. She accessorized with black ballet flats and pulled her dark blonde hair back into a ponytail with face-framing forehead fringe. 

Meanwhile, her dad looked dapper in a blue-gray suit with a patterned dress shirt and black patent leather shoes. 

Wildcat is Ethan and Maya's latest project together, in which the actor served as the film's director and his 25-year-old daughter starred and executive produced alongside her stepmom, Ryan Hawke.

This isn't the first time the father-daughter duo teamed up professionally. Back in 2020, Maya played the daughter of Ethan's character in the limited series The Good Lord Bird. "Working with my dad was great," Maya previously told Entertainment Weekly about the show. "I hope to work with my dad my whole life. He's my greatest teacher and my greatest adviser, and it's an honor to get to work alongside him."
