Drumright police urge caution following lion sighting in backyard

DRUMRIGHT, OKLA. (KTUL) — The Drumright Police Department is raising awareness about a lion that was spotted near a home.

Surveillance video shows a lion crossing through a backyard Monday night near N. Curtis, according to the department.

Police said game wardens have been notified, and warned residents if they see the large cat, do not approach it.

Instead, call Drumright Police at 918-352-2151, or dial 911 if it's an emergency.
