JACKSON, Miss. (WDAM) - A Jackson man was arrested Monday after a raid of his home turned up more than 350 grams of methamphetamine and weapons.

James Bradley Odom was taken into custody and charged with:

  • Aggravated trafficking of a controlled substance
  • Possession with intent to distribute narcotics while in possession of a firearm
  • Convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

Odom also was wanted on an outstanding warrant through the Mississippi Department of Corrections for violating probation.

According to the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, its agents and officers with the Capitol Police executed a search warrant on Odom’s residence in the 4000 block of Interstate 55/North Frontage Road in Jackson

Agents seized approximately 356 grams of methamphetamine, a half-pound of marijuana and 10 grams of powder cocaine.

Agents also seized two firearms at the property.
