ANALYSIS:This might be worst Detroit Pistons team ever. 2024 summer demands change.

Game notes: To put it kindly, the Detroit Pistons and Memphis Grizzlies are stumbling to the finish line this season. Both teams have been crushed by injuries lately, but the Grizzlies' season has particularly been railroaded by those who have fallen on the injury report. It obviously starts with superstar Ja Morant, who was suspended for the first 25 games this season and then had to get shoulder surgery that ruled him out for the season. The Pistons recently lost three players to season-ending injuries and Cade Cunningham has been in and out of the lineup. The Pistons do enter this game off a win, albeit against the only team in the NBA that could have a case for being worse than the Pistons: the Washington Wizards. ... This Pistons game will be televised for free via an over-the-air broadcast for the first time in 15 years on TV20 Detroit WMYD.
