CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A Florida man is behind bars in Charleston County after authorities said he traveled to meet someone he believed was a minor for sex.

Justin Scott Kriedeman, 32, from Green Cove Springs, Florida, was arrested on 10 charges connected to the sexual exploitation of a minor, Attorney General Alan Wilson said.

Kriedeman was arrested Tuesday by members of the Internet Crimes Against Children task force from the Mount Pleasant Police Department and Charleston Police Department.

Investigators said Kriedeman traveled to meet someone he thought was a minor to have sex, encouraged them to produce child sexual abuse material and sent sexually explicit images to a person he thought was a minor.

Kriedeman is facing four counts of criminal solicitation of a minor, one count of attempted criminal sexual conduct with a minor, two counts of first-degree attempted sexual exploitation of a minor, and three counts of dissemination of obscene material to a person under the age of 18.

Wilson stressed that all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
