Why Lily Allen Is Side-Eyeing Beyonce's Youthful Look

Lily Allen did not hold back her thoughts regarding Beyoncé — claiming that her ageless beauty is not entirely natural and suggesting that she's "getting some help" in maintaining her appearance.

On an episode of her Miss Me? podcast that was released on Thursday, April 4, which she co-hosts with Miquita Oliver, Allen made a jab toward Beyonce's looks.

Oliver was gushing about the star's show-stopping beauty and said, "She does look great, she makes me quite excited about [my] 40s." Allen then chimed in and claimed, "Yeah but, she's getting some help."

Her cohost swiftly came to the defense of the Grammy winner, countering with, "She has not had any work done if that's what you're implying."

Allen then clarified, "I didn't say that [but] she's got a great team of stylists, great hair people, she works out, [she's] got access to the best personal trainers in the world ... she's Beyoncé."

Allen didn't stop there in her commentary on the "Texas Hold 'Em" artist. She believes that Beyoncé's transition to a country sound for her Cowboy Carter album was accompanied by "calculated" decisions.

"It's quite an interesting thing to do when you're trying to tackle a new genre and you just choose the biggest song in that genre [to cover]. I mean you do you, Beyoncé," Allen said, referencing to her cover of Dolly Parton's infamous "Jolene."

"I think it's been quite calculated. I feel like when Jay-Z got up at the Grammys ... that was part of this campaign," she remarked, referring to the moment when Beyoncé's husband passionately expressed his sentiments on stage.

"I don't want to embarrass this young lady, but she has more Grammys than everyone and never won Album of the Year," were his exact words in his acceptance speech for the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award.

Allen continued her rant about the "Single Ladies" singer with, "And now she is the most played woman on country radio and she's coming for that market."
