POSITIVES

— Thick, strapping build with very good arm length.

— Good square power with a firm anchor and rugged, assertive demeanor.

— Stout on contact in the run game to absorb and secure the first phase of the block.

— Effectively lines up, jars and/or seals off his target as a puller.

— Active hands in pass protection with a prompt, accurate inside hand strike in that works as a potent timing disruptor.

NEGATIVES

— Marginal lateral, redirect and reactionary quickness leaves him out of position and off balance against inside counters and late shed attempts.

— Will struggle to line up and intersect targets on climbs due to inconsistent angles and minimal burst to adapt on the fly.

— Needs to work on lower-half mobility and pad level to play with better leverage.

— Needs to play guard in the NFL but made zero starts at that position in college.

OVERALL

KT Leveston is a two-year starter inside Kansas State's 56-44 run-pass split, multiple run scheme with 32 career starts all at left tackle, including 13 last season. Leveston has a thick, wide-bodied build with very good arm length, adequate athletic ability and good play strength.

Leveston wins in the run game with a strapping, thick build that results in his being firm and stout at the point. He roots his feet on down, angle-drive and overtake blocks while being a jarring, effective puller who can seal off his target.

Leveston will struggle intersecting targets off climbs due to inconsistent, short angles that leave him late to the spot. He has shaky sustain skills due to high pads and minimal bend in his lower half that leads to him falling off too many blocks late in the rep.

In pass protection, Leveston excels against tighter alignments, where he utilizes very good length with active, potent hands to disrupt the timing of rushers before clenching and anchoring quickly. However, he was scraping by against speed due to middling range and lateral quickness that will necessitate a move inside, where he has never started.

Overall, Leveston is a hulking, physical presence who is firm at the point of attack with the length and crafty hand usage to end reps quickly in pass protection. However, his middling sustain and recovery skills likely cap his NFL ceiling as a backup guard with possible spot starter upside as he adjusts to a move inside.
