According to an affidavit filed in Tom Green County, investigators with the San Angelo Police Department say video evidence showed Vera stab Rudisell as the fight was happening in the parking lot. Witness statements and a receipt obtained by investigators also placed Vera at the bar on the night of Rudisell’s death. Vera told police that he could not remember anything about the night because he had been drinking.
