Meghan Markle has been urged to overcome her anxiety about returning to the UK as it could prove to be a very good move for her new business.

The Duchess of Sussex has rarely been back to the country with her husband Prince Harry since they decided to step down from the Royal Family and move to America. Meghan had a hard time in England as a senior royal and has developed a strained relationship with the Royal Family in recent years.

However, PR expert Ryan McCormick believes it could be a lucrative move for Meghan to reunite with the royals after launching her new lifestyle business American Riviera Orchard. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, he said: "From a shrewd business perspective, it's good for Meghan to be associated with the Royal Family.

"Her new company will benefit from the added visibility. People will not only be making an emotional connection to the Duchess with their purchases but to the royal dynasty."

Ryan added: "Why Markle would be nervous about returning to the UK is beyond me. Reuniting with the house she and Harry tried to burn down benefits them more than anyone else."

American Riviera Orchard is Meghan's new lifestyle brand and has been likened to her now-defunct blog The Tig. The new venture will see Meghan selling items such as home, garden, food and general lifestyle wares. The business will also tie in with a Netflix cooking show which will be hosted by Meghan.

Ryan's comments come after it was reported Prince Harry is set to return to the UK next month for an event celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. Harry is set to speak at the event at St. Paul's Cathedral on May 8, according to a copy of the schedule seen by The Express.

A source told the publication: "Both Harry and Meghan are listed as guests and a speech has been scheduled, but there is still a question mark over whether Meghan will make an appearance." They explained how Meghan is "anxious" about attending.

However, they said it will be a good opportunity for the Sussexes to fix their relationship with the Royal Family. "It's a worthy cause where Harry is the key ambassador, and it will be a good starting point for the Sussexes to repair relations with the Royal Family and the British people at the same time," the source said.
