I’m ticked off at radio stations that call themselves “Talk Radio.” They used to let us listeners call in and share our opinions, now all we get to hear is hosts talking about their fancy homes and social lives. They should call it “Podcast Radio” because that’s what it’s become!

I’m both ticked off and saddened at today’s church services during Easter Sunday. Instead of the songs being joyous and filled with triumph, it was the same low-keyed modern dribble we always hear every Sunday. The sermon was no better. Better fit for Good Friday than a celebration of exultation! So long for the old days of true soul inspiring worship!

I’m ticked off at the Tampa Bay Rays and Tropicana Field. If the roof was replaced with a beautiful blue and/or retractable roof, there would be no need for a new stadium – in my humble opinion. I’m ticked so much money seems to be needed for a new location that would create relocation of low income families. Where can they go?

I am ticked off at the terrible condition our streets and roads are in, especially Pershing Avenue and Conway Road. Finally, at last after many have fallen in such a bad state of repair I am seeing where some are being repaved. But it is a case of too little too late. Most of the time on some roads just an inadequate patch job is done and after a few heavy rains and thousands of cars the patched places wash out.

I’m ticked off that Disney has to put a new program in place to deter people from lying about a child’s health so they can Mickey Mouse the system and Donald Duck their way into shorter lines meant for the truly disabled. This is worse than anything that Maleficent, Scar, Cruella, Gaston, Jafar and every other Disney villain could ever conjure up!

The flip side

A big thank you to the woman who told me where the entrance to Longwood Quest was (in the courtyard around the corner from the stated address). I would’ve missed my appointment if I hadn’t asked her as she left.
