FORECAST SUMMARY

By far, the best days of the forecast will be Monday and Tuesday, with partly to mostly sunny skies and highs remaining above average either around or several degrees above 70.

The forecast for the rest of the week is looking cloudier and cooler compared to earlier forecasts with some rain showers also returning.

Despite the chance for rain during this period, it certainly doesn't look like anything heavy or a washout, but high temperatures may struggle to even get out of the 50s at times.

A cold front looks to track through Friday night bringing with it some gusty winds and a stronger shot of cooler air just in time for next weekend.

DETAILED FORECAST

MONDAY AND TUESDAY

This will be the pick pair of the week weather-wise, with partly to mostly sunny skies, lighter winds, and pleasant temperatures both days.

Highs Monday should reach the mid 70s, then get a little cooler for Tuesday, although still top out around 70 degrees.

These days are also the two guaranteed dry days of the forecast, before rain chances slowly rise later in the week.

WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

A warm front will try to move in from our west on Wednesday while an easterly onshore wind flow develops leading to much cloudier skies and possibly a few showers, mainly later in the day and especially at night.

High temperatures will also turn noticeably cooler compared to the start of the week with the numbers only expected to climb to around 60 degrees.

The warm front looks like it will now get hung up to our south and west for Thursday keeping us in that easterly onshore flow along with plenty of clouds and some additional shower chances. Highs Thursday may only reach the mid 50s.

There may be a bit of a break in rain chances Thursday night into Friday as our warm front lifts away to our north, but Friday is still expected to be a mostly cloudy day with high temperatures getting just a little bit warmer back into the lower 60s.

A cold front is expected to cross the region Friday night into early Saturday possibly bringing some additional scattered showers.

In the wake of that front, another shot of brisk and cool weather is expected for the weekend of April 20-21.
