Apr. 12—Irving Center patrons armed with special glasses to view the eclipse gazed skyward on and off for about two hours as the eclipse reached its most complete point around 1:45 p.m.

A special watch party featured moon pies, star crunch cookies, starburst, Milky Way, eclipse gum, Sunkist drinks, and more stellar snacks. Unique commemorative coins created in the 3D printer in the Fab Lab of the Irving Center by Bob Shay were distributed.

"A big thank you to ICC patrons, Shirley Graham, Carole Phillips, and Debbie Claborn, for decorating for the events and providing games and photo booth," Zack Smith, Irving Community, said.
