ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Authorities arrested a man who allegedly threw a brick and shot at a vehicle Thursday evening in north St. Louis County.

Prosecutors have charged Key’Shawn Deal, 21, with property damage, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm in connection with the investigation.

Deal is accused in a disturbance that unfolded around 9:30 p.m. Thursday near the 5300 block of Englewood Place.

Investigators say Deal was walking around a parking lot with a firearm and pointed a firearm at one victim who attempted to call police. According to a probable cause statement, a witness observed Deal throw a brick and fire a at least one shot at the victim’s vehicle.

Deal reportedly tossed his weapon while attempting to run away from the scene, though officers stopped him nearby a short time later.
