Ludacris recently reflected on his brief spat with comedian Katt Williams, deeming the exchange as “laughable.”

The veteran rapper and actor appeared on The Breakfast Club on Monday (April 1) and discussed prior comments Williams made regarding how he secured his recurring role in the Fast & Furious film franchise.

On Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, Williams alleged that Ludacris compromised himself to powerful forces in the entertainment industry to get the role, the jokester claiming that he was offered the role, as well. However, the 52-year-old said he passed due to his integrity, while Luda accepted instead.

“I have no idea if he was offered a role in [Fast & Furious] or not,” Luda told Charlamagne when questioned of Williams’ charge. Yet, the Atlanta rep notes that he personally ran into Williams in the past and that their interactions appeared to be cordial at the time, which made Williams verbal attack that more surprising.

“I do know that I saw him in Rick Ross‘ crib some years back and everything was perfectly fine,” the hitmaker revealed. “But he’s a comedian — he tells jokes! — so it is what it is.”

Luda continued, adding “Charlamagne, it was so laughable what he said […] I couldn’t believe what he was saying. I took it as laughable because he’s a comedian and that’s why I responded with some laughable stuff.”

At the beginning of the year, Katt Williams gave an explosive interview to Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, during which he blasted several comedians and celebrities, including Steve Harvey, Kevin Hart, Cedric The Entertainer and more. However, one unexpected name that was tossed into the fray was Ludacris, who the comic accused of being a part of a secret society.

“So there was a crossroads where we were both invited to an Illuminati thing, and it had to be one or the other of us and decisions had to be made,” he said. “So it was both of us, we were equal. One of us had to cut off all their hair and couldn’t do the sideburn thing no more, with the points.

“And the next person they said was going to get $200 million because they were going to pay him $10 million a movie to do 20 movies. And that’s how the conversation happened. One of those persons turned out to be Ludacris, and the other person turned out to be Katt Williams.”

Ludacris would respond to Williams’ comments with a quick-strike freestyle, which was followed by Katt returning fire with one of his own while on Suge Knight’s Collect Call podcast.
