The Philadelphia 76ers have a plan to lure LeBron James to play alongside son Bronny

Now that we know Bronny James will be declaring for the 2024 NBA Draft, there are multiple teams scrambling to see if they have what it takes to convince LeBron James to play for them. An announcement from Bronny that is proving to be one of the most important in recent years because LeBron has been very clear about his intentions. All he wants is to play alongside his eldest son and then retire from the game. What ever team that manages to do this will have LeBron James in their ranks for an indefinite time. Altough there are many doubts that Bronny will be taken by any team in the first round due to his recent results at USC, all of these teams are thinking about getting LeBron James as part of the package.

Enter the Philadelphia 76ers

Earlier in the week, there has been a team that has already expressed interest in trying to get Bronny James drafted and they trust LeBron James will follow suit. Their intention is to make a play for Bronny during the Draft so they can get a chance to steal LeBron from Los Angeles Lakers. The Athletic's Sam Vecenieis convinced that the Philadelphia 76ers are that team that will most likely try to steal Bronny James from under the Lakers' noses. He considers the Sixers are the one of the most viable options due to their infrastructure. They already have Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey as their in-house stars but adding LeBron would be a welcome surprise.

Because despite LeBron James' desire to play alongside his son, there is also the competitive aspect of making ths decision to move to a different city once again. What ever team that gets to draft Bronny will also have to present LeBron James with a proper plan to at least compete for championships. If this doesn't happen, the team's chances to get father and son are non-existent. For now, the Sixers are the ones that expect for this to possibly happen but there will be other teams involved in the Draft that could become new options for Bronny.
