Waunakee teachers, staff revisit Heritage Elementary in its final days

Places and spaces hold special meaning in our lives, particularly schools we’ve studied at or worked in. They’re filled with our memories, and when we visit, they offer a chance to relive a bit of our past.

On Monday, retired teachers and staff revisited Heritage Elementary School one last time to view photo collections from years gone by highlighting the school’s long history in Waunakee. They visited their old classrooms, recalling their time as teachers and their former students.
